Farm Works Google Earth

Do you have coworkers or customers who need to see the location of each machine, however, do not require Site Pro Dispatch on their desktop computer? Farm Works Google Earth allows others to see the location of sprayers or other equipment without purchasing additional desktop software.
How does it work?
A customer logs on to a specific website protected by a username and password. Once login information is confirmed, the customer can see a list of machines. Just a simple tap of the mouse allows Google Earth to do the rest for you.
REQUIREMENTS
Internet connection  1 x Site Pro Dispatch

CAN I SEE A DEMONSTRATION?
1. First, click on the Google Earth picture above. The link will take you a web page where you can download the Google Earth installer.
2. Double click to run the file to install Google Earth on your computer. Once installed, run Google Earth.
3. Click HERE to access an example file created in Farm Works for use in Google Earth. When you are asked to 'Run' or 'Save', choose the option to Run. If the file does not automatically open in Google Earth, choose it as the program with which to open the file.
4. You should be able to see the field/area polygon in Google Earth.

Pro enhances the features of Farm Trac and Farm Site and provides critical analysis tools. Multi-year yield averaging (also known as normalizing), profit/loss mapping, and soon the ability to use formulas in creating prescription maps for variable rate application will all be included in the Pro module. The best tools for making the right decision.

Features offered in Pro:

Normalized Yield Data - Normalizing yield allows you to average multiple years to find consistently high and low yielding areas.

Normalization will average any number of yield maps together. This includes averaging yields from different crops (with different values). The process then uses values based on a 100 point scale where the average yield for a field will be 100. Below and above average yields will be represented by + and - values
The normalized yield map will be a gridded, polygon/area map. When creating the map, you have the option of selecting the size of the grid to be used
Users can control the Search Radius and number of Neighbors used in the calculation
Normalization can be done for any group of fields. Select a single field or multiple fields and Pro will create Normalized Yield Maps for each field
Create any number of Normalized Yield Maps based on crop or year
Includes the flexibility to include or exclude any yield map from any calculation. If you have an anomalous year (maybe a very dry or overly wet year) you can choose to exclude it

Enterprise Summary/Profit Map – Pro includes Enterprise Summary maps (also known as a “Profit Map”) for any field crop enterprise

Maps are automatically created for every field and enterprise that you have set up in Farm Trac. No user interface required
When data is updated (such as when a new farming job or accounting record is recorded), the Enterprise Summary will automatically be updated

The Enterprise Summary Map can be used to show a map of:

Variable Expenses – The average cost per hectare of all farming jobs that were conducted variably over a field. Each grid square will reflect the total variable expenses for that part of the field. Examples of Variable Expenses include the variable application of fertilizer, seed and other inputs. Additionally, any job that was only performed to part of a field will result in Variable Expenses, as will fields that were planted with different varieties
Income – The average income per hectare for crop sales. If the field has a yield map, the program will use the values from the yield map combined with a crop value to create the Income Map
Fixed Expenses – The average cost per hectare of all farming jobs or allocated expenses that were performed equally over the field
Profit – This map will take the Income Map less the Variable and Fixed Expenses to come up with a Profit Map that shows the profit in each part of the field
When the Pro module is used with Farm Trac and Site, the program will use the costs that were manually assigned to each supply, piece of equipment and person. Additionally, it will use the value assigned to each crop. These costs can be changed for individual jobs as needed
When the Pro module is used with Farm Funds, all costs will be calculated from actual costs that have been recorded in your cash register
Advanced Prescription Generation

More Features to Come
The Pro module will give users the ability to create VRA Prescription maps using formulas. The program will come preloaded with some standard formulas and will give users the ability to modify the formulas as needed. Formulas will be able to utilize map data on different map layers. This can include using soil test results from a grid or management soil sampling map along with yield data (for crop removal) from a yield map.
Current Site Pro users will automatically receive Pro if on support.

Pro Requirements:
Trac and Site Microsoft© Windows 98 or higher  133 MHz Processor  64 MB Memory  20 MB Hard Drive Space
By signing up to an Annual Support Plan you are guaranteed to receive all updates to all Farm Works modules for one year. The development team is continuing to listen to users and will continue to add features to the Pro module based on feedback.

How many hours do you spend creating variable rate maps for customers?
What about the time and fuel wasted when transferring data by memory card to the field device or coordinating operator jobs?
Site Pro Dispatch streamlines this process by creating variable rate maps or other important data, and sending them to the field within seconds. Operators no longer wait for their maps which increases productivity. Site Pro Dispatch takes advantage of wireless technology to eliminate memory cards and improve data communication from the office to the field.
How does it benefit the operator? Operators share a common concern about field verification before starting a new job. Site Pro Dispatch ensures the accuracy of a job by uploading a geo-referenced field boundary for that customer. Using GPS technology, the mobile device allows the operator to see the field boundary and verify the correct location. When the job is complete, the data is quickly sent back to the office to update field records, inventory control, and billing.
Site Pro Dispatch is the software tool designed to track machinery and equipment for co-ops, agronomy dealers, and contractors. It not only tracks the location of every machine, but it also reduces fuel usage by improving machine movement. A few clicks with Site Pro Dispatch enables data to be sent from the office to the field without picking up the phone. This eliminates mistakes and improves overall business efficiency.
